- On a cold, windy evening, Sister Amy greets us warmly at the door of the motherhouse in downtown La Crosse. She later takes us to visit Mary of the Angels Chapel, which has visitors from around the world who pray in the chapel and appreciate its architecture and history.
- Our podcast guests reflect the diverse ministries that FSPA sisters are involved in! Sister Katie is a pastoral associate in a parish, and Sister Eileen is an RN and a certified acupuncturist.
- We’re deeply impressed by the FSPA commitment to perpetual adoration. For over 130 years, at least two people have prayed around the clock before the Blessed Sacrament. The sisters explain that it’s a way to be mindful of God’s presence among us always, and of the need to be present to one another.
- We’re headed home, having successfully dodged two snowstorms on Dubuque-La Crosse double-header road trip, TB2G!
